Your Donation Matters

PictureDonors like you are our foundation
Since 1985, Manitou's woodland sanctuary has flourished under the stewardship of dedicated volunteers. Community members skilled in trail work, support of indigenous trees, flora and fauna, and removal of invasive species have enhanced the well-being of forest and fen, with an eye for the natural processes of rewilding.  Healing and discovery have come to generations of families and individuals who call this land their own. Enhancement of being—with the land, among Nature's own, and in the lives of countless humans—is the legacy of Manitou's presence.

An extended act of love through workshops, camps, environmental education, solo journeys and untold acts of kindness make these 223 acres of conserved land and 9 miles of trails available to all.

You make this possible through your gifts of presence, membership and green energy. Modest program fees contribute some to operating costs—taxes, filings, basic overhead—but the rest comes from your generous tax-deductible gifts to sustain this land we cherish, own and co-create with!

On behalf of the families, the land and community of Earth we serve, thank you for your generous support!

Our 501(c)3 nonprofit status is pending, EIN 03-0345864. Donations are tax-deductible as the law allows.
Giving by check saves processing fees.
